Thing's to do in East bali

Driving around Bali with scooter on sunny day is so much fun and fast, rather than with car, just wear your helmet, have your driving licence and know how to ride the motorbike. Make sure your gas full before you begin you travel. This time I'm gonna take you for a journey to Eastern part of Bali. East side of Bali is unique and different from the other side. It offer more culture traditional side, villages and more beautiful landscape. Some people said it's the hidden gem of Bali, well it's not hidden anymore because I will let you know all the secret.

1. Pantai Goa Lawah
Starting the journey from Kuta, 46 kilometer to the east, this beach is next to Goa Lawah temple, a Hindu temple with a bat-filled cave. It's small beach with beautiful blueish water surrounded it. It is good for stopping by if you on your way to Amed. Enjoy nice breeze coming along from the beach.

2. Blue Lagoon Beach

Blue water indeed, this place offer relaxing resort with villas and garden. The restaurant food is not that great and slightly overpriced, but well you got beautiful view from the restaurant so basically you pay for it. If you like to do snorkeling this place is a nice spot, it also has beautiful coral.

3. Pantai Candidasa (Candidasa beach)

Located 13 km to the east from Blue Lagoon beach, this beautiful I love You beach is popular with locals for taking a walk and watching sunset view. Blue water, nice and quiet.

4. Taman Tirthagangga

Spiritual garden built by the last king of Karangasem, the garden surrounded by fish pond and natural spring. It is quiet garden and clean. You need a ticket to get in. Located 17km from Candidasa beach. You will pass by many beautiful local farm landscape with nice breeze in this area. The view is just green and beautiful.

But during the high season early in the morning to go there is recommended due to the large amount of people want to take picture of it special gate. Sadly I don't have picture of this place, so feel free to google it somewhere.

6. Amed

16 km drive from Lempuyang temple, this is the hidden gem people talked about. This small fisherman village is one of amazing little place in Eastern Bali. Popular with snorkeling and diving. You can dive in Japanese shipwreck and surrounding area. Many villa and diving spot in here. Very relaxing, calm and quiet. This place is totally contrary with busy party place like Kuta, Canggu or Seminyak on the opposite side of Bali. Beautiful for sunrise and sunset as well.
